We found our Christmas tree at a farm just a few minutes from our house. It was a lovely place.
. . .
They wanted this tree. But, Holly said no. It had a funny sticky out problem near it's thighs.
Still no. "Sorry guys, trust me, I'm... a tree expert."
Dad towards the end: "Okay guys, just pick out a tree. Just pick one.... Just one. Just CHOOSE one now. Or I will!"
Us: "But, there's too many choices..."
Back at home getting our decorating on...
. . .
'Tis the season for fir and fudge and Holly and jolly...ness!
(Poetic, fail.)
Happy Thanksgiving...
It was also Liam Asher's 10th birthday last week , which we celebrated on Thanksgiving. His favorite gift of the evening was probably his new snowboard. :) We love you, Liam!
Baby turns ONE!
"So dad.... what am I supposed to do with this? And what's really going on here tonight... I'm a little confused! And will everyone stop staring at me?!!"

Christian Alexander is almost a year old! So, Holly took him outside on an almost warm fall day and got a few pictures of the cute little bald man.
There never was a child so lovely but his mother was glad to get him asleep. Ralph Waldo Emerson
Train up a fig tree in the way it should go, and when you are old sit under the shade of it. Charles Dickens
There is only one philosophy, one religion, that fills this need in all the world's thought, whether the East, the West, the ancient, the modern, the new, the old. Only one fills the philosophical need of existence, of being, and it is the Judaeo-Christian God---not just an abstract concept, but rather that this God is really there. He really exists. There is no otheranswer. Francis Schaeffer
